D. Landon White, Senior Counsel


Landon White is a criminal defense attorney practicing in Raleigh.  He has experience successfully defending clients at trial and negotiating favorable plea agreements on his clients’ behalf in State court, Federal court, Military court, and Administrative courts.  Landon has prior experience in the Wake County District Attorney Office, where he prosecuted DWI charges, drug charges, violent crimes, weapon charges, thefts, and other criminal and traffic charges.  He is a member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers, the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, and the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys Top 10 Under 40, and he currently serves as Editor of the Criminal Justice Section newsletter for the North Carolina Bar Association.

Landon earned a Juris Doctor from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law with a focus in Trial Advocacy. He held a research position at Campbell School of Law as a Webster’s Scholar and was instrumental in assisting to edit and revise a legal treatise on North Carolina property law. Landon earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism-Advertising from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Landon is licensed to practice in North Carolina, United States District Court-Eastern District of North Carolina, and United States District Court-Middle District of North Carolina. He is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, the Wake County Bar Association, and the Tenth Judicial District Bar.
